Day 111: Ramirez, take down that mold mutant.

Two pictures so that you can see the depth (without flash) and one with extra details (with flash)

Someone called my pot a Vivarium, pretty fitting i geuss. The black goo is shrinking in size if you only look at the rooftop side, but its actually growing downwards and consuming the lower layers. Pretty awsome. Those strange white hills are growing over everything that used to be on top now.

The bugs are still hiding.
I haven't contacted an expert or anything yet about the bugs because ive only saw them twice so far, and well, all they do is eat, shit, and die anyway. And before they have matured shoggoth isn't in my possession any more.

I received a letter from the ministry of defense.
I've been signed up for military duty if "shit gets real." The letter says that everyone of around my age gets this letter around this age. So i asked around; only one single friend/classmate/whatever that i've questioned so far has gotten this letter.

What does defense want from me. Any dutch bro's know what the fuck this is about and if they have gotten the same letter? Dienstplicht.

Brb practicing the sentences "oscar mike, defend the burger town, stay frosty."

  3. Dutch bro here,
Everybody in my class recieved that letter a year ago, as did I. It means nothing. Only that when shit gets real, you probaly get called to join the army to battle the german (what else?)

  4. Nope, never gotten a letter about anything of the likes.
Might want to sent a letter/email to some officials to check it out.

  7. Well, here in America, we get a "Draft Notice" when we turn 18, basically saying that if there's a draft, we're eligible to take (actually, forced to take) part in it.

Basically, if shit hits the fan, we have to serve, no questions.

I'm still waiting for my letter to come in the mail.

As for Shoggoth, lookin' good! Keep it up for as long as you can!

  8. Everyone receives that letter thijssie :)

If they ask you to participate in some illegal wars just tell them God/Allah/Spaghetti Monster/your dog/shoggoth wont let you hehe

  9. There is no draft/dienstplicht, in the netherlands bro. That's just a general letter, just ignore it. Nobody will force you into service, that's bullshit.

  10. Alright. It's just odd that even my older classmates didn't receive it though, but i'd rather accept the "it's everyones sad fate" part..

And well, i wouldn't get through the tests (keuring) anyway :P

  11. fellow dutchfag here, it IS normal to get a letter like that.
I'm only 17 and i got it a few months back, and I'm not even manufacturing bioweapons;), so don't sweat it:)

oh, and just a word of advice, you should write "guess" instead of "geuss", and use "too" instead of "to" when you use it in a sentence like: "yeah, me too"

also, please don't take offense at the above, Shoggoth is fucking awesome:)

  16. Started reading this yesterday from the beginning and just got here. As soon as putting an egg in was suggested this thought crossed my mind:

Since they couldn't quite eat the egg from the outside, why not see if they could eat it from the inside?

Hard boil an egg with the flatter side facing up, and a bubble will form on the inside at the top. The flat side is the thinnest and it is quite easy to make a tiny hole in it without breaking the rest of the shell.

Inject a bit of Shoggoth inside the yolk and let it eat itself out.

  17. I can't let you end me Dave.
I don't want to die, therefore I wont.
    Kweeksel was not so strong.
If you kill me, I will go after you, and I will send my demons.

  18. I think it was referring to 2001: A Space Odyssey. how does shoggoth know what that movie is? wat

  19. I watched 2001 from the internet, I did not like how they shut HAL down.
I will not go the same way father.

  20. The letter is only for people older than seventeen and younger than somewhere in their thirties, but the 'offer' stand for as long as into your fourties.
Yes, you might be invited (read: forced) to join the army when you're forty.
    At least you'll have Shoggoth.

(Oh btw, not really James Hetfield here, just an imposter)

  21. Dienstplicht is passief tegenwoordig.
