Day 24.

Oh boy, no more work till like... the end of february.
Bored as fuck and stores are closed to.

Shoggoth.
Coin experiment; it hasnt moved but who expected that anyway, the yellow/white circle around it looks kind of solid at the moment and its barely visible on the bottom of the jar. I forgot to turn on the heating lamp today, dont know if that had any effect on shoggoth.

The water and juice i threw in yesterday is already gone, and all that is left is a few droplets of green liquid. I have no idea what this green liquid is, but its there.

Also, I accidently got a bit of shoggoth on my fingers, have some wounds from working, and goddamnit it HURTS LIKE HELL.

Is starting to look a bit boring so might feed it to shoggoth sooner or later... Throwing in the usual recipe.

Day 23: Silly brittish currency!

Shoggoth actually smells like smelly socks now. And looks tasty...
Added soft drink droplets into cthun out of boredom.

I might need bananas because they take long to digest, because shoggoth is dissolving food way too fast now, and even worse, When i put in water it dissapears within 12 hours, i need a camera to record this. Its like kweeksel all over again... Its time for a little experiment.
The same coin experiment that i did with Kweeksel, which moved the coin.

Im dropping in the first coin.
A brittish two pence coin, seeing how worthless they are.








As you can see, the coin is already sinking. So much for the english currency, by the time i posted this, it was at the bottom of the jar, so luckily i can still see it. A bit. A little white circle is forming around the coin, and it's just 10 minutes in.

Day 21: Week Three!

Three weeks passed, wow! I havent even gotten sick or anything yet either.
But thats because of the mask and gloves.

To answer a few questions...
- Im feeding cthun to shoggoth because shoggoth is 5 days older, and cthun is mostly made out of liquid. Cthun's container is way smaller to.
- No, there is no girl trying to kill shoggoth anymore. Good riddance i geuss.
- Yes, i keep forgetting about Grimer.
- Yes, i had a new camera this morning, and it already broke down. Better luck tomorrow after work, not that Shoggoth is looking much different than usual though. Cthun is however.

Daily update;
All the liquid i added to Shoggoth yesterday is now either mold, jelly like goo or crust. It took less than 24 hours to change. The cumcumber and oranges are completely covered in mold to.
Its creeping up a little on the walls of the pot, but not much. No jailbreak yet.

Cthun's color is even more darker than yesterday now, and the butter and sugar are dissapearing to. Its starting to get more solid, so i might have to open up half of the bottle instead of just pouring it out when i want to feed it to shoggoth.

Still banned from 4chan. Cant appeal ban till tomorrow, and the IRC wont connect on all my computers either.

Day 20: Feeding time!

Woke up, and shoggoth got;
Squeezed out orange and the juice, a bit of new water, leftover christmas sugar bread cumbs, powdered sugar, liquid butter and i stirred it all the way. Shoggoth now looks like a swamp.
Though most of the liquid is still in a jelly like state. Im probally going to throw in gelatin one of these days to see if it eats the entire gelatin, or becomes the gelatin.

Cthun also got a little bit of new water and some liquid butter. Shaked it like a cocktail.
Cthun is made out of two parts now. A liquid bottom and a green/black solid top.

Oh, and yes i am playing favorites on Shoggoth, seeing how cthun is destined to be food for Shoggoth.

Day 19: Oh dear, it seems that it is christmas.

Shoggoth is now happily dining on christmas cookies (the sugary ones) and a piece of cake, while cthun is having a lovely time turning the cream into a solid state.

Day 18: Congratulations, its fucking nothing.

Thats right folks, nothing really happened today.

I got some minor hand injuries at work and opened up the wounds to bleed into shoggoth though, so shoggoth just got his first drops of blood. Its surrounded by some white kind of foam by now.

Cthun did nothing at all.

Day 17: Funding.

Just wanted to mention that i'm starting on a new job tomorrow, so i have more money available for things like pots of mild steriods etc.

Crazy suggestions are now more welcome than usual. Like the recording how Cthun might kill a terranium filled with ants suggestion, which would be fucking awsome.

day 17: Rest.

Cthun didnt change much, it just became a bit greener.
Shoggoth still is the layer of crust, so i fed it a little bit of sugar and stirred it around a bit, which was actually kind of hard. The goo is turning very thick, and shrinking in size.

I just thought of a little thing though.
Kweeksel grew very slowly in his 156 days long life, and efficient.
Shoggoth however, grew much faster, and Cthun became moldy in the matter of two days after throwing in the "revival" ingredients. Two. Days.

I keep forgetting about Grimer, so feel free to assasinate me, but i think Grimer might grow the fastest of them all, especially since i'm willing to throw in meat and have everything at the begin. Grimer will be opened only once until i decide to kill it off and feed it to shoggoth, so there must be loads of crap in it.

A female friend even offered to safe up an used tampon for it.

Oh, and you should see this, its a bit related. I might even get that chicken mcgrill burger for Grimer.

Day 16: What.

As previously mentioned, why does this fungi change EVERYDAY?

Cthun is now solid and black/greenish.

Shoggoth still has the layer of the crust, combined with some spit like substance on the surface on various spots with bubbles in it. (its bubbling, something is goddamn breathing down there.)

And yes, i still lost the camera.

Day 15: Late update.

Most stores were closed, no container and ingredients for Grimer (Pot 3) today.

Cthun's green fungi has dissapeared for some reason.

Shoggoth is covered in a layer of some kind of crust. Its harder than the rest of the goo and looks very powderlike. Poking it resulted into a hole, which was filled when i checked it about a hour later.

Im suprised there is something happening every day to be honest, even though its not really much.

Day 14. Confusion and the third son.

Doctor appointment (blood) is moved to some later, along with other things.
I'll spare you the details before this is turning into some kind of personal bawwwww blog. Havent heard anything from the butcher's assistant in days. Probally the holidays.

I'm also back to being forced to use a shitty webcam;










Shoggoth, Now in horrible quality pixels, is getting a new special treatment; Im stirring the jelly like substance and mashing it together to keep it concentrated every few days now. The orange that i threw in yesterday was already completely turned yellow and the bread was kind of greenish, and already breaking down into smaller pieces.
A friend poured in a little bit of his energy drink into it, i dont know if this will have any effects but who knows.

Cthun, yesterday rock solid now has a liquid bottom layer again. This will make it easier to pour a little bit of it into shoggoth on a later date, unless it turns solid again.
In other news, Cthun smells like booze, yet it keeps rotting, thus making me believe it can actually resist alcohol.

????, See this as the announcement for pot numbero three.

• Trying to find something to put it in, im kind of running out of containers. Especially airtight ones.
• Will keep it airtight and in a dark, dry place. Probally with meat. (out of reach of maggots, and out of eyesight/nose range.)
• Doubting about ingredients.
• This one already has a death sentence before even being created; the pot is destined to die from being exposed to oxygen and then being grinded up into shoggoth.
• I will only feed this pot once or twice. This means fucked up things need to be inside this.
  

Day 13: Thanks, /x/!

Cthun has made an almost full recovery thanks to advice from /x/.
The pancake mix like substance is now being covered in fungi and other shit.

Shoggoth is still feeding on his previous lunch.

Day 12: Pancakes, women and zzzzzzzz.

My new lover doesnt exactly like the idea of having a giant pot of fungi around. But im not going to let you down so i'll talk myself out of this...

Shoggoth is currently eating little pieces of banana, grinded vitamin C pills (x2), some little bit of sugar and some sauce that came with my food order. I think its tomato. Added some drops of water.
No real changes in shoggoth today.

Yesterday i joked about cthun being alot like pancake baking mix, and how i should bake it to see if it became solid;
I think i invented self baking pancakes, because Cthun's liquid has indeed turned like 90% solid. Didnt add anything because of the results.

Day 11: Congratulations! ITS NOTHING!

Ive been working for 13 hours straight today so im keeping it short, and no thread;

Shoggoth is completely fungi and goo now.
Cthun looks like pancake mix and i feel like baking a small part of it.

Day 10: hold on a second...

Is.. Is it just me or is it clawling up. I didnt move it. either that or it starts draining water really fast...

Cthun is probally failling, since it doesnt show much change, whilst shoggoth seems to look different every day. In two or three days the next addition to the family, and probally the last, will be added.

EDIT: forgot to add, put two medicine pills in shoggoth. Medicine against the lack of energy.

Day 9: Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the stinkiest goo of them all..

It sure isnt shoggoth yet, and cthun isnt stinking either.
Cthun is doing the exact opposite of shoggoth; its turning from a jelly like state into a watery liquid.

Shoggoth is starting to look like a cheap microwave pizza/puke.
Im not throwing in anything yet for the next two days.

Small Message. - 14 dec. 09

Woops. Sorry for dissapearing last night guys! Dont worry, i did read through everything.

It also seems that some random forums are starting to find out about this project... (good evening, emobucket.) and most forums all seem to have different ideas about my goals.
Hell, some small forum suggested that i was making a zombie virus and that i would never succeed.

It feels really good to see how many people are actually interested in these kinds of things, so two thumbs up to you people!

Day 8: Plan for the coming days.

Shoggoth has enough food for the coming days, so i wont be adding anything but tiny amounts of water for at least 48 to 72 hours.

Cthun however, is still thirsty and could use some liquid refreshments. I have no idea what to add yet though. Probally milk, like usual.

The doctor's visit should be in about 3 days to. (Blood)

Day 8: Small FAQ/guide

I've had a few emails and a some direct questions, i answered them personally. However im still going to write down this;


- Can i make my own pot?
Yes, feel free to!

- How would i start off?
some bread, a piece of fruit (i used squeezed out oranges), tiny bit of water and with that rotting base element you can start adding different kinds of food. Just dont add too much at the same time.
Things like milk, banana slices, human spit and warming it a little bit does wonders.

- Aren't you afraid for your own health's sake?
No. I doubt it'll get worse than last year. The illness that is.

- Wear a mask!
Dont worry, i have a mask now. It's not like Kweeksel where i started off unprepared.

And im not throwing in yeast.

Day 7: A child Katherin, a beautiful baby child!

The newest addition to the family, hasnt got a new yet though.
It has been decided that this project will have multiple pots with different situations.

This one will be mostly liquid based, on small scale, and will be hearing jazz music most of the time.
It wont be heated much either, but not put into the cold.

I now have two pots. Out of three, or four.

EDIT: the name is Cthun.
The second regular pot will be called nurgle, and if i make a fourth the name is oedipus.

Day 7: Items get!

The jelly like substance which was previous liquid is now turning yellow and greyish, while the fungi is spreading out in two different races; Pure white fungi and dark greyish fungi (regular fungi i geuss) The white isnt easy to see but its in the middle.
Today it has had his first vitamin pills (grinded), some fish oil, some more small pieces of bread, two slices of squeezed out orange and some of my snot. (leaking nose, got ill two days ago.)

made a deal with a local butcher assistant to, i can get some lambs blood, "throw-away pieces" of meat and and cow eye for free. A local doctor will be extracting some blood from me to put it in the pot, and my request for a swine flu vaccin syringe is still pending.

A biology student has started to show interest to and contacted me about the previous pot.

Day 6: *gag*

One of my cats actually puked straight into the pot. Except for that i havent put anything new in it.
This cat pukes all the time so it isnt because of the pot, especially since most of it is covered.

The fungi seems to like heat. The fluffy fungi parts is mostly growing on the side of the lamp (source of heat), and it is growing ever so good. I stirred it a little and the bottom part has become a little bit harder.

And, best of all, it still smells good.

I couldnt make a thread, sorry. /x/ was down for me.

Day 5: First fluffy mold appears.

As the title says, the first fluffy mold has appeared on the jelly like substance and mostly on the squeezed out orange.

I put some skin in it, some of my snot/boogers (got a leaking nose, because apparantly im ill. not due to the mixture though.) I also found the old put, put a little amount of water in it and shaked it for a while, and then put the small amount of water in the new one.

That is all. I dont have much else to tell since i had a long friday night, so meh.

Day 4: Already something unexpected.

It has only been four days and there already has been happening something that i did not expect; The liquid (urine, water, some milk, yoghurt, tiny bit of cum, and orange juice squeezed out of a rotting orange) is already turning into a jelly like state. The bread and apple slices are also starting to rot fast.

Ive also begun to spit in it on various occassions.
And for the last suprise, its actually smelling good.

Added today; spit, sugar, tiny amount of ashes.

Day 3: Summary of current ideas.

So yes, im making a new pot, and im not doing it alone; You and the rest of the internet are free to share ideas and suggestions. I have already been asking around a bit and got alot of helpful tips, And just some plain awsome ones.
For example.

"Give it marinara sauce to eat.
When marinara gets fungus, it makes neat, pastel colored globes. Looks cool, man."

"Do you have access to a menstruating female? If so use the cuntdroppings. All the nutrient-rich blood should do wonders."

"You should feed it aromatics to see if you can make it smell nice. Try benzene, it smells good and is a good carcinogen."

"Give it small doses of medicine to make it build up a resistance against them. Sort of like our immune system and vaccins."

So yes, i save most of the advice i get.
People have also decided it to be called "Shoggoth" and "Hell Goo" so it is called both.

Shoggoth is currently being warmed up by lamps in a comfy place, and starting to rot its first bites of food. Nothing special has happened yet, as expected.



And my camera is still very shitty.

Day 3, begin of blog + basic idea. + History.

Some people asked me to start blogging about my new project, so i will. ( hai /x/. )

Picture above is a very low quality of my soon to be new baby. Remind me to get a new camera.
It's a pot full of food and stuff ready to rot.

Why, you ask? I geuss a bit of a history lesson is in order about this thing;
A few years ago i did a thing that most kids would do, i let some food rot in a mostly closed container and kept feeding it so it would keep growing.
However, I did just not just feed it food, i 'borrowed' stuff like bacteria growth stimulator, pure sugar from schools biology stockrooms. I also put little droplets of blood, spit and other..err.. bodily fluids in it. And insects and all other kinds of organic crap that i could get my hands on.

And all that kind of crap. The result: Kweeksel.



He was such a cute fellow.





Kweeksel had lived for 156 days according to my old 'experiment logbook'. in those 156 days, he grew from simple pieces of bread, droplets of milk and water to a all-eating slimy substance. I first kept it in my room until it started to smell like shit, then moved it into the garden until on day 77 a bit leaked and killed a few places of the garden.
It rested his final days on my roof. Since day 89 some birds started to see Kweeksel as potential food. 3 Birds have died (assuming they ate from it) right next to the pot.

After day 122 passed, i noticed something odd. I had placed a coin in it the previous day to see what would happen. The coin had moved from one side to the other. On day 125 i put in a chicken bone to see if it would 'move' again, but when checking again two days later the bone was gone.

Kweeksel has gotten me sick/ill twice (probally from inhaling spores/gasses) and on day 156, i put it out of his misery by dumping it in the nearest river.
Where it probally killed some fish in the progress.


But im making a new one. That's what this entire blog is about.
