So i grabbed Shoggoth and the first thing i hear is "bloop." Scared me shitless.
And there is now some liquid on the upper layer, it's black and it looks like blood dripping down on a surface, a little black river of... what ever the hell it is.
Shoggoth is now black, green, more black, black and gray, black, and some white balls are still growing it. Kind of like white spore pods. Which would be "Shit just got real".
Either that or weird alien eggs.
Still not going to throw in anything i geuss, i might heat it up again soon.
The egg was still intact, i even poked it down a little just to make sure. Which is kind of a dissapointment, but also a big relief for my nose seeing as i can sometimes smell through the damn masks. Speaking of which, i just ran out of masks and the stores are closed. Fuck. (I throw them away after a week of shoggoth exposure each. Kind of like refreshing a filter.)
I wonder if i have any money left to buy a gas mask, that'd be cool. Or a fucking hazmat suit which are cheap as fuck anyway.

Day 103: Recovery
Well i seem to have recovered. At least the pain is gone and i can smell things again that is. The last one being a bad thing;
Shoggoth smells... like urine. Really strong, left by a drunkard, urine. No better way to describe it.
I had a few emails so far of people who tried to make their own hell goo, and they claim to have failed, or better said, the goo failed;
It wouldn't grow within 20 days, sudden "deaths" (growth stops), all these kind of things. It kind of makes me feel special that i have made three in a row without failure, but it also confuses me.
If you have tried to make your own shoggoth/hell goo, can you please comment me how it was? Curiousity is getting the better of me. And i want to know if i actually got lucky in some kind of way.

Day 102: And we went on and on and on..
I seem to be recovering right now. Can't say the same for my mother, but she's trying.
I could barely sleep though, just like the previous days, and i had this pain the chest that scared me shitless.
Listening to always by erasure (HARMONY HARMONY OHHHH LOVEE) actually made my headache less bad yesterday night, thanks Elofs. And for the anon who suggested soup a few days ago, you just saved my nose.

Peeked into Shoggoth and there's tiny white balls growing on the black, really fuzzy, upper layer. I was thinking of trying to electrify it a bit now, but that black upper layer is actually.. Tough to break through. It's like a shield trying to protect the lower layers.
The liquid layer is filled with black dots and some orange shit that i don't have any explanation for, the black dots are probally just bits of the soil or charcoal, but that orange crap? no idea, it's in the middle so i can't get a close look either.
As for the sample of the liquid near the egg from.. about a week ago? I injected it into the soil below a random flower in the garden, seeing how it's nice and warm outside today.
Speaking of the egg, black fungi is crawling on the sides of the egg shell, but poking it shows that it still hasn't broken.
Still no men in hazard suits ramming down my doors so all is well. Did you know those suits costs like 15-30 dollars/euros? i need one goddamnit just because i CAN have one.

Day 101:
Just a little reminder for the people who keep asking, no, i haven't created Grimer because Shoggoth was becoming to dangerous. Hate it if you want to, he would have died from not being fed because i wasn't planning to open the jar. I had a perfect airtight glass container, but it fell down some stairs, which was one of the reasons why i said "fuck it."
Sickness is still the same, mother is still sick to. It's probally just flu except that painkillers still don't help against my fucking throat. I can barely eat anything for gods sake, shit sucks.
Mother didn't go to the doctor though so it's probally just flu. I'm still trying to avoid Shoggoth a bit though, just incase.
I don't get sick often but when it happens, it's bullshit like this.
And yes i'm still curious to see what's happening inside Shoggoth right now, but we get the most fun results after a while of not seeing him anyway. Like yesterday it was all black and shit.
Also,
The stat counter made me go "What." seeing as it was 963 pageloads in one day. More than i expected. I need to get one of those unique visitor ones.
And here i was yelling that i'd only get like 50 people anyway.
EDIT: painkiller finally seems to start working for my throat, rejoice! Shower tiem noa.

Day 100: Day goddamn hundred.
It's finally day 100! Never thought we'd make it this far. And today is a special day in shoggoth land to;
My mother is sick with the exact same symptoms now. She never got near shoggoth or knows about it's existance. If the disease is really from Shoggoth, north holland is fucked.
My mother is a highschool teacher and she just left for work, despite being sick. Dutch readers; Watch the news.
I was planning to do something special for this day, but what the hell, If this is truly the work of Shoggoth this is special enough.
I'm still hoping it's just some fucked up kind of flu. But...
My joints now hurt to, i have a fever, and.... well... lets just say that my ballsack is really saggy now. I might have invented the ultimate birth prevention method and the fix for the overpopulation problem. Awsome.
Oh, and had a nosebleed for the first time in years.
I guess the old doctor's immune system was right in a little way; painkillers still barely have effect, they only are starting to make me all fuzzy and shit.
I need better medicine. In b4 overdose.
The sad part however, is that if i keep being sick like this, i will have to get rid of Shoggoth. Or maybe even destroy him.
My options are:
* Destruction by bleach.
* Dumping in the Kweeksel river, killing even more fish.
* Putting it in the organic trash container so that it ends up at an organic waste disposal where it will happy eat everything.
* Call chemical waste disposal services (boring)
And well, a little update on Shoggoth self... It has become... black. Though in the picture taken with flash it still looks kind of green. And the egg still looks unharmed from above.
I have no idea if it smells bad now, since my facemasks are of actual quality and im not going to smell that shit again.
I wish blogspot had something that shows how many hits a day my blog gets. Anyone know a way to find out? The facebook has 352 people when i last checked, but alot of people dont use facebook.

Day 98: Whew. (early morning update)
Shoggoth didn't make a grand escape again so far. I should indeed get a lock on it if some guy is crazy enough to break in my house just to fuck with my mind.
Which is an awsome thought actually.
Anyway i just wanted you to know that i have a terrible headache again, my nose is filled, i have breathing problems and a stinging pain my throat,
And i wanted to show you a little something
This is a picture taken with flash.
Shoggoth's upper layer looks flat, but very detailed. You can still see charlie getting eaten, and stuff like that.
This is taken without flash.
Bad quality, less detail BUT you can see the form of Shoggoth's upper layer way better.
I should post both with and without flash more often, because with flash Shoggoth looks liquid and flat on top, while in reality theres forests and mountains growing there.
And as you can see, the egg is being dragged down and theres a weird black spot on the shell. And in the second picture you can see how grey shoggoth actually is, though with flash you pick up the green tints.
What you cant obviously see is that the smell has changed to. It now smells like... How do you say it... Old concrete walls? Clay? Dust? something like that..
Sliced 4 beans in two and pushed them in shoggoth, injected some lemonade syrup as far down as possible. I don't want to put things on the upper layer now.
Going back to bed now, wish me luck.
