Day 97 2/2: We are safe. For now.

This should relief some of my stress. But it doesn't. Nobody entered my room or house today.

How does a 1.2 kilo heavy container full of fungi get down stairs and through a door.

Anyway, i geuss here's my regular update after all...

Look at the egg. What.
It doesn't smell like rotting egg but still...

And it's turning green again. Quite standard i geuss... This still doesn't explain how it dissapeared. I'm duct taping the cupboard shut.

I'm scared.

Day 97 1/2: WHAT, NO!

WHAT THE FUCK.

GRAB BIOHAZARD SUITS, FLAMETHROWERS, GUNS, RATIONS, ANYTHING. THIS IS THE END. IT JUST.. DISSAPEARED.
FORGET ABOUT ANTIBIOTICS, THEY WONT HELP.

Edit 1:

Just found the "cover". This just doesn't make sense anymore. Nobody has been in my room today. No no no... Please tell me i'm dreaming..

Going to check the most impossible places of the house now... behind walls and the sides of the attic where nobody has been for years. Wish me luck...

EDIT: 2, no results in attic, search continues.

Day 96: Insert Fetus. Receive blood.

I geuss this is goodbye, Charlie. It was fun shaking you around like a man man trying to kill you without having to get his hands dirty.

It's finally Egg time seeing as the apple is almost gone now.
I had a hard time pushing the egg through the upper layer, but it did not break. The liquid you see next to charlie is actually from within the solid matter.
It came out of there of the result of pushing in the egg.

You could say this might be shoggoth's "Blood."

So let's let this shit analyzed soon. I want to know if it's any different to the other sample that we analyzed a few days ago.
(it looks so bright because of the flash on my camera.)

Whatever it is, it touched the corpse of Charlie. In b4 zombie spiders.

Day 95: Rapid development, Part two.

Late update because i was having a fine nap on my keyboard until a fan woke me up "Where is update >:" and he single handed saved the day. Today we will honor this single person. However;
Quite alot changed. Again.

This picture, in my eyes, looks so. GREY. However my camera is very color sensitive so it picked up a few colors that i can't really see with my eyes. I suppose it makes better pictures. I need to take a daytime photo.

In boring slow news:
Charlie's getting fuzzy.

So how does this count as rapid development? Except for the hill in the middle and the color ofcourse...

STOP THE FUCKING PRESSES:

Do you see it? And i dont mean that weird orange stain, i mean the middle layer. The middle layer is now solid while the lower layer is liquid again. This is the first time since day... what, 20? that this changed like this. All over a single night time. What?

I really want to know what caused the liquid in the middle to either become solid or being eaten by some very fast growing fungi. Shit man.

This is like if your lungs would overnight decide to switch places with your intestines man.

Day 94: Liquid sample tests.

Met a guy thanks to the doctor who could test a few things in shoggoth. And so we did.

The liquid sample in the syringe.
First of all he had never seen so much different bacteria crawling around in such a small place before, but he also said that there we're some rare bacteria in there.
Feels pretty good man.

Ofcourse, that started the conversation of "So what the fuck is this shit." and he gave me some vitamin C and B pills for my disease resistance (he's skeptic about the first doctor's resistance theory)

It turns out there are laws forbidding me for taking Shoggoth out of the house, so that sample is about equal to carrying around a gun. Awsome. Why are there laws for carrying around bacteria/fungi samples anyway?

He also wasn't sure if electrifiying with 9 volt would be a good idea. Plus he said that Shoggoth *MIGHT* be already creating tiny amounts of electricity, but that would be just... Weird as hell.
Then again, you can charge a mp3 player with an orange/lemon.

So if i keep meeting these people like this, how long before i hit the newspapers?

Day 93: Rapid change.

Its like a goddamn nuclear winter in there, suddenly. Jesus christ.

Its kind of weird, first shoggoth started to look all the same (green shit everywhere all the time) and now the look seems to change every day.

Spider remains untouched as you can see, but shoggoth seems to be way slower since the cold shed. Then again, good luck eating exoskeletons on a fast rate.

I have no idea what else to write, i geuss i can blame it on posting too much yesterday...

EDIT: on closer inspection, the space below the spider seems to be liquid, instead of the fuzzy white mold. I dont know if that means anything, but we'll see.

Oh and yes, the middle is like a hill. Either the apple is floating up or im going to have a huge gas explosion when i keep fire near it.

Day 92: The tale of spider charlie.

I was bored so yeah, ANOTHER entry. I geuss i'm in an article mood. Did i ever do 3 in one day before?
Its time for the tale of spider charlie.

He was huge man, huuuge, Goddamn.
I put him in a blue plastic cup, covered the opening and shaked it like a cock tail for 6 minutes. That's how long it took for him to die.
Earthquake victims are pussies compared to charlie man.

Rot in pieces, Charlie. Speaking of which...

Is it just me or has shoggoth changed looks twice in the last 24 hours? Because, fuck, look at that. The classic white layer is coming back!

.

Day 92: Make over time

Second article of the day because i got sick of that stupid apple in the middle.

I pushed it down into the liquid layer and 'solid' lower layer, entirely. Its now an apple submarine.
I hereby rename the unfornate apple 'iSubmarinefood"

I also pushed in some wet soil, algae from the nearby river where i dumped Kweeksel, and charcoal. This caused the 'core liquid' to be pushed up and its now laying on top of there. Im going to drain this liquid that's on top to reduce shoggoth's size a bit.

Shoggoth now weighs about ~150 grams by the way. Which is mostly because of the liquid.

Day 92: Incoming "No Fun Allowed" reactions.

"hey man put some mice in" "mice mice mice" "This has never been said before but throw a mouse in"

You guys really hate mice huh.

I know that you all want mice in shoggoth, but i currently dont, and especially not live ones. I'd get attached to those. (Being raised with lots of pets does that to you.)

As ive said, It will smell terribly and i'd have to put it outside again because of the smell, in that cold shed, and you know what happens when i do that. And not to mention, Maggots.

I. Hate. Maggots.
Theyre disgusting, and that's coming from the guy who tries to check a pot full of slime and fungi every day. And they scare the fuck out of me. Ugh. I'd rather stick my hand into shoggoth than having to touch a maggot with a single finger with a condom wrapped around it.
(Hey, what effect would lube have on shoggoth?)

Anyway, so no, i'm not planning to throw in mice, especially since i already know what would happen anyway.
* body decomposes way faster than usual,
* I'd die from the smell,
* And in the case of an alive mouse, the mouse would die within a day.
* There's a nice small skeleton in shoggoth now, which MIGHT dissolve like Kweeksel did after day 122. But i doubt that would happen seeing as it's already taking ages to make a whole apple dissapear.

Speaking of which, i flipped over the apple to speed up the process seeing as i want eggs inside instead. Which will smell worse than mice, but whatever, a fetus is more awsome than a critter.

Why am i sure that the mouse will die? Kweeksel started killing birds after day 89 and Shoggoth > Kweeksel in many ways.

I'm fine with insects, i mean exoskeletons devouring is way more awsome than skin and hair. But you know that i'm already throwing in insects once in a while, like those larva who died in ~7 minutes. Or the slug who just melted as if there was lots of salt in, while theres barely any.

I still need to get the liquid sample analyzed, i wouldnt know where though. Maybe i'll have to ask my old school if i can borrow a microscope.. I'll call the doctor later to.
It feels kind of weird to have a syringe filled with shoggoth with you to be honest. Brb bio-terrorism.

I'm prepared to throw in my own blood, waste my money on chemicals, get private doctors, etc. But i'd rather skip mice.

You can start yelling your "no fun allowed" reactions at me now.

Day 91: Three whole months later...

Who would have thought we would turn little pieces of bread, orange juice, water and spit into a jar with potent bacteria, coin devouring mold, diseases, etc.

Or finding out that i have a major resistance against mold/fungi thanks to a private doctor who i contacted for the sole purpose of getting my blood into a jar of food, who still inspects my health now and then.

Or the fact that i (estimated) have around 400+ readers, and that that boring video on youtube of shoggoth absorbing water would get more than 650 views. And whenever i type in "hell goo" on google, i end on top, the facebook below that and below THAT there are you people, talking about the blog on forums.

Thanks for the loads of support, advice, and everything guys.
I just needed to say that, don't mind me.

As for shoggoth today; I think it's recovering quite well, the upper layer is solid again and starting to become brown, instead of the liquid white/yellow it was when i took it back inside.
The middle layer still looks pretty normal; so...

Let's get this shit analyzed sooner or later.

I also injected some warm milk into the middle layer.
