Day 135: Garbage Day (Part 2)

Figured i started updating as soon as i came home, and i noticed lots of insects swarming around Shoggoth and Eden. Mostly at Eden. Eden is turning a bit into an insect graveyard right now, and it's also looking pretty. I took a few pictures.

The insect here got stuck.

A bit of a letdown; My camera isn't actually capable of photographing this piece of Eden correctly.

Bread being eten away and this tiny black leaf. The thumbnails look really strange by the way.

And finally; the corner, which for some reason is a crust, like earlier months Shoggoth instead of a fuzz. The liquid layer of Shoggoth is probally rotting in here.

And yes the sun was shining, which is why the colors look so "warm". And i picked up Shoggoth after throwing a tiny black beetle in, and well, it looks...

...Just plain nasty. It isn't fungi, it's just SLIME and solid chunks of god-knows-what.
Here's another picture without the sunlight in the way;

Now including strange purple shade. Oh and that black thing in the middle on the left? That's the plastic pill. Being what looks like being dissolved, and mold growing over the capsule. It's like pill is dissolving in your body, but in very-very slowmotion.

No chicken bone, i think my dog stole the last one.

  3. You know, chicken bones are really bad for dogs. They splinter instead of snap, so they become a bunch of sharp fragments and can seriously damage the digestive tracts.

  4. some of these photos are really pretty

you could exhibit them at a gallery or something

    mold is "in" right now

  5. while eden is a fungi paradise, shoggoth is turning into a bacterial soup.

when eden gets bigger, you could add some if it back to shoggy to try and encourage more fungal growth.

    Bad.

Well my dogs don't seem to be in pain so i don't think they had it then, they chew everything to oblivion.

You made me google "Fungi art", which shows up some actual neat pictures, but nothing like this indeed. Shoggoth pictures would be disgusting though, while Eden seems to be, indeed, pretty.

Could do, after all Eden actually has a tiny amount of old fungi from Shoggoth left.

  8. Perhaps you can get some nice mold going on Shoggoth by lying some bread and orange peels on it. I can't remember the last time something was sitting on Shoggoths surface other than that leaf some time ago.

  9. It seems like you don't like Shoggoth anymore.

perhaps removing shoggoth food source of insects would cause him to turn back into mold?

  11. Shoggoth is still my child man.

also, slime mold, yes that would be awsome, and i don't know i have a feeling that the mold will return soon if i stop fucking with the upper layer.
