Day 53: I fail at taking pictures once more!

Well actually, the quality just got screwed over by the light.

Holy fuck, are those tentacles? Well sadly not. They are worms being dried out and eaten, or larva. I dont know, it was live fish food.

Look at the left curve, thats what happens when i grab the jar, the entire solid layed moves now instead of being goo-ish.

What there is to update today though; The green nation is now dominating the upper layer of hell. But its floating, so shoggoth is safe. Or mutated.
And just when i thought it was all over, this white has started to appear around the green. Who are these white knights in not so shiny armor? Is it shoggoth defending his last breath?

Why is it exactly the same white that was around the coin all the time?

And why are there strange lines on my photos? oh wait, because they are horrible quality and moved. I'm kind of hoping that the green will start to take over more of shoggoth, because it looks prettier than pizza dough colored mold. Way prettier.

EDIT: the lines are actually the gelatin squeezing together. Awsome.
EDIT2: Im getting an aquarium full of crabs soon, anybody has any advice on treatment etc? Ordered a guidebook but, yeah.
Crabs lay eggs to. Hmmm... shoggoth crabs...

  2. Try to give it oxygen, if fungi doesnt get oxygen it starts producing alcohol from sugars which is bad for the bacteria, etc. But do try to keep it a bit covered for your own health's sake.

Start off with small simple things like a few orange and banana slices, a little milk and some bread. Oh, and spit in it a few times.
Small amounts of soil seems to help to.

Try avoiding getting too much liquid in the bottle.

    Good luck!

  4. You could look into nutritional yeast as a source of food for Shoggoth. None of the yeast is alive; it's the dried hulls of dead yeast. It's a rich source of B-vitamins and trace minerals. Vegetarians use it as a supplement, so you can find it at a health food store or something.
