As for the growing mold part, Shoggoth is becoming a compost heap, and is dark brown again instead of the really bright color.
Really standard and shit. and the black thing on the right side is a dead snail by the way. Or well, the shell remains. Shoggoth is one big pot of slime, and i've decided that i want a little more fuzzy fungi growing instead. So i pushed bread into the lid which will hang over Shoggoth like a nutrient ceilling.
Like that.
In a bored mood i also tried this;
To which i won't really add anything, i just want to see it become all fuzzy.
Eden's meat hell hasn't started to digest yet, but that will take some time i guess.
And at last, i noticed something funny.
The plants in the tray at the upper part of this picture had liquid layer of Shoggoth injected into the soil, and the lower one has not. Coincidence?
I bet shoggoth is turning into some kind of ULTRA FERTILIZER.
ReplyDeleteTry adding him to some other plants and see results. Just think if he really is a fertilizer. You can become a freaking billionaire dude!
Sweet, Shoggoth doubles as a fertilizer. I can't imagine the kinds of toxins being absorbed by those plants though. Whatever they are, they help plants grow.
ReplyDeleteSo I think your problem with slow digestion may be because of surface area. Fungi eat only what they touch, hence slow apple. And with Shoggoth confined to the pot, the larger he gets, the slower he eats. Try putting him in a pan type thing, or a flat container of sorts. This will not only allow for faster growth/digestion, but it will also give more area for new fungi to grow and be seen. Like shoggoth city :3 Eden will soon overtake shoggoth once the fungi and bacteria grow to larger proportions.
ReplyDeleteI like the anon above me, I think this calls for... A fish tank? :3
ReplyDeleteWITH FISHHHHHHH?????
Underwater shoggoth ?
ReplyDeleteUnderwater Shoggoth is terrible growth, i tried something like this with Kweeksel.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes it is funny that it doubles for a fertilizer, yet creepy in some way.
