Wait, let's pull her on her side.

Wow.
A blog about pots full of rotting food, fungi, larvae and bacteria by a guy who used to know next to nothing at all about biology, chemistry, etc.
Which sadly has come to an end after 166 days, it was an amazing trip guys! Blog won't be deleted for archive purposes.

ReplyDeleteI think if this test goes well it might be time for a small live animal!
ReplyDeleteI agree with ^

It wont live for too long so you shouldn't worry.
If you're not against putting food dye in Shoggoth, I vote you dye something (maybe do that third grade science project where you grow flowers in colored water) and feed it to Shoggoth to see whether the food is simply being added to the top or if it actually has some sort of digestive system. Also, is Shoggoth a he or she? 'It' just doesn't seem right anymore.
ReplyDeleteI almost puked.

ReplyDeleteshoggoth is a ton of mold that gets mixed around a lot, so there's no way for it to have a literal digestive system. mold colonies can send nutrients and organelles and things from place to place, though.
